Meet Huckleberry and Heidi, the newest members of the Heirloom Boston Terrier Pack. Huckleberry is smart, learns quickly and was walking very early. He is affectionate and comes when I call him. He is on the top in the first picture, on the left in the second, and by himself in the 3rd. He is in the first picture second row. Heidi is on the right in the top middle picture and the feature puppy in the second row middle and right spots. She is a sweetheart and loves to cuddle, is smart and responds to her name. The puppies moved out of their whelping pool yesterday and into an exercise pen. Both love the extra room and freedom and are walking and the early puppy version of running and enjoying their extra space. Huckleberry is NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Huckleberry is priced at $3950 with a $1200 non-refundable reservation fee due within 24 hours of approval of an application. He will be small and I am strongly considering keeping him for my breeding program. Heidi is $3450 with a $1000 non-refundable reservation fee due within 24 hours of approval of an application. Heidi is SOLD.

Our newest litter arrived on April 8th at 6:00 am and on April 9th at 10:30 am. Little Baylee, at 12 lbs was bred with a stud dog, a few ounces over 12 lb. After she had her little boy on the 8th, I waited and waited and she appeared “done”. I checked her tummy and it was flat – a pretty accurate sign she had a singleton. That evening around 7:30 she started panting again. When I took her outside I gently palpated her tummy and there was definitely something there that wasn’t there earlier in the day. There was a puppy hiding up in her rib cage (hence her name Heidi thanks to my husband) where I could neither feel nor see her. She started panting as the puppy moved down from the rib cage. Long story short, I took her in to the vet for a sonogram to rule out a retained puppy or placenta. It showed a puppy so we scheduled an emergency c-section as the puppy was trying to exit shoulder first. Baylee had a little girl on the 9th at 10:30 am, placenta fully intact so she had plenty of nutrition and oxygen during her wait to enter a new world. A litter of two born 29 hours apart! Baylee and the babies are doing well and thriving.
