Heirloom Boston Terriers

I personally use finely grated organic carrots, ground (powdered) organic
raw pumpkin seeds, and organic, unrefined, cold pressed, coconut oil and
organic canned pumpkin (not pie filling).  All given at 1 tsp/10lb body
weight once a day (or the equivalent divided over 2 feedings/day).

These articles will provide information on natural vs chemical

I am not a veterinarian and do not intend that you rely solely on this
information to form your conclusions.  I encourage you to do your
own research into this as much information is available online.
There are holistic, homeopathic, natural veterinarians that you
can choose to work with if you would like.  Many, though, will
want you to purchase the supplements they sell, so just as with any
other vet, it is important to find someone who will respect your
views and choices - even if it is not what they recommend -
instead of fighting you every step of the way.
You are the pet parent and the decision should be yours.

You will want to check stools periodically - either by taking a
sample to your vet or by doing them yourself at home.

It is advised to have titers drawn at wellness exams prior to allowing
any vaccinations and at the same time a heartworm test.  Some
suggest every 6 months for the heartworm test for the first couple
of years.
